Was just talking to Rebecca about it I told her you picked up a clean 60 today and she says I know I wrote the insurance on it LOL. We were talking about the Hagerty classic car insurance if you kept it near stock to most folks that wouldn't know any better you'd qualify :)

What would be the benefit of the Hagerty insurance? I have seen their commercials but it looks like they insure mostly Super old rare classic cars and trailer queen show cars.

I had it on my 67 and 78 its an annual policy at a 1/4 of the price you pay with your current policy. Call or email the expert she can give you the low down :)

Engine wise I am really wanting to swap a diesel into it, and a transmission with an overdrive. Been looking at a few builds where they swapped in the 6.2 gm diesel, heavier than the 2f, but slightly more power and even people running turbos on them are claiming low 20s for mpg. Kicking my self now because a few weeks ago I saw a 6.5td with an NV4500 sell for about 1500 dollars.

More realistically though I was hoping to talk to paul about putting TBI on it, the parts I would need, and all that fun stuff.

I had to go back to find it but here is one of my favorite 60 builds, grab a cold one bud and start reading its good stuff :)

Sweet looking ride John. I would be looking for excuses to run to the store in new 4Runner :D

I'm back Ms Jean :D so I go down stairs to go to lunch with a bunch of the knuckle heads from our corporate office in St Louis last thing you feel like doing on your first day back from vacation and this nice 40 was sitting in the parking lot. Didn't have time to sprint for the cruiser for a card hopefully I'll see it again and talk with the owner. Looks like it's a work in progress but coming along nicely :)

Awesome I was running my mouth too much to get out and see it  Very nice and from what I saw at quick glance he's doing it right with trail ready components the 4 link rear, SOA frontend and Saginaw PS to name a few, looked like a highsteer kit too
