Possible to get/estimate year from chassis no?

As per the title, I have built my 45 from a bare chassis I picked up that had already been stripped, and I was wondering if there was anyway to get the year of manufacture from the chassis number.

Apart from the numer all i know is that it is the 'small eye' suspension bushes and the chassis number doesn't have the year in front like the early 1960's builds.

The number in question is FJ45 - 69889.

FYI:

The above link is for FJ40 production numbers, not FJ45.

Must be a 1973 or later,
mine is a 1973 (first registration 03. 1973) and the number begin with FJ45 59 . . .

big eyes started with 1981 model year, otherwise the springs are the same mid 60's thru 1980.

This for US model 45's.

Looks like yours is a later, non-US model. Where do you live?

I'm sure I've seen a list for non-US models somewhere on this site. Have you searched?
