I don't post much here. lurk mostly, but I know this is where the local AZ Landcruiser enthusiasts hang out.
This will be vague, on the verge of clueless, but I'll try anyway.
While surfing the local salvage yards for parts this morning I found an early model Landcruiser. I know almost nothing about LC's, but it's the model I see often referred to as "The Iron Pig".
The full size version, with a narrow grill and round headlights. Killer tan and gold/beige color. Has historic plates, some ancient winch and a gnarly rear tube bumper. Everything else looks basically stock.
Anyway, it's in very reasonable condition on the outside, needs interior work. I have no idea what is missing, but it seemed like it just arrived. I asked the attendant what they knew about it.. which was basically nothing. They thought it might be for sale or to be parted out... or worse.
It's located at "Pull A Part", Broadway and 25th Ave. I thought someone here might be interested in the vehicle or be the first one there for parts. I don't have a number to verify, but guessing it's still there.
For what it's worth.
