These might go into production for the 100. I have talked to the rep via private message and he wants to know what sizes we would like to see. I also told him this would open up the wheel to the tundra crowd.

I was thinking, 16x8 and 18x8.

Under 19 lbs each and about $580 for 4 would be great. I would save 20lbs per wheel over the tundra steelies.

Hope this happens. My biggest question is color on a champagne truck, matte gunmetal or matte black?

These are really nice wheels...I wheel with a guy that has a set (the white tacoma w/ black wheels in their advertising).

You can tell him for me that I'd absolutely be in for a set as soon as I find my perfect UZJ100...probably 16's.

Cheers,

I would think that an 8.5 or 9 inch width with an offset that would push it out about 3/4ths of an inch from stock would probably be best? Would allow for 295-315 widths without spacers. Right?

If this happens before summer I would be interested. Would anyone else be interested in a 17" wheel? I'd love to run 285/75/17, and most of the aftermarket selections look like crap.

If they are marketed to the Tundra crowd as well, the wheel might have to be a 17" diameter minimum. I'd like to see:

18x8.5 or 9. +40mm offset. This would work well for 285/75R18 (35"), 295/70R18 (34.5")

17x8.5 or 9. +40mm offset. This would work well for 285/75R17 (34"), 315/70R17 (34.5")

Cool looking wheels if they can do the 18s in the size that Hoser suggested...thx

Hello Guys

I just stumbled onto this thread, but I resurrect it back to life. We hope we can make this happen for you guys, but we definitely need to know there's interest in them.

The wheels will still be 16x8 with 4.5" with the correct bolt pattern. With an 8" wheel, you can still run 35" tires. For the FJ40 guys, we're looking to produce the F-5 with 3.5" BS which will create a deeper dish.

It seems like you would have better luck with a 17" or 18" option, as far as the 100 series crowd is concerned. Most of us that are running the 16" are pretty happy with OEM and there are plenty available from those who have gone up to 18". Much harder to find other sizes for sale.

I would personally be interested in a clean looking 17" option when it's time for new tires.

My two cents.

I'd like to see a set of 16's drilled 5 on 150mm offered. I believe there are plenty of 100 owners that would like to replace their factory 16's as most of our rims are pretty tired after many years of use and 18's are already available from other manufactures for the Tundra.

5 hole on a 5 spoke wheel just looks right. imo

How about the Stealth 6 in 17" or 18"? Something that would appeal to both Tundra and 100 owners makes it more doable.
I would be in for either one in Stealth 6. Would the center caps be made to fit the front hubs?

16x8 with a 4.5 backspace!!

Just so you know what you are getting into, the proposed size of 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing is the equivalent of putting a 2-1/4" wheel spacer on your stock wheels.

These look great. Would like to see a +1" offset over the stock 2005 18" wheels for clearance.

16x8 +10mm offset 5x150 for the 100 series guys now available in matte dark bronze and matte gunmetal. Supply is limited.
