I have been secretly working on the offroad mod in some dangerous locations - gearing up so to speak.

Check this flex out and thats without the Shotts N74 shock mod....think of the possibilies with it:popcorn:

You have a ways to go. :) The top of my 315's tread is below the level of the frame's bottom when fully extended. The pic below is almost there.

OK, now share your "secret" ideas with us on flex! No holding back!

Here's a fully extended pic. It's about an inch below the frame. Heck, it'a rocker panel level pretty much.

If I was to share all it would be a secret now would it:hillbilly:

I see some 80's on this thread with greater extension. Where's other 100's?

What's the "secret test" on Phil's 100?

Oh, and why ya showing the added droop on the 80's on this thread? Phil or any 100 can match that rear travel 100% as long as they DON'T have a rear bumper like mine. It limits my travel. Phil could swap shocks and take pics identical to these 80's and bettering mine. See...I give away secrets! :D

The original comment that started all this posturing was actually aimed at the front axle, and specifically Phil's, and more specifically his 80.

You can all go home now. :D

Naw, Phil and Tools started this thread so they could pick on me (the duds!). Scum! :D

If we're aiming at front axle flex then we need to stick to the same Series. That 2.5" (~) added travel the 80's have makes a difference for sure (though it RARELY makes a difference on the trail).

Nope, not all about you, Phil whined about us posting poser pix in his thread, so I made a new thread, no plan/conspiracy.

Why, a lot of us wheel together on the same trails, so comparison is valid. Most don't care about "series" as much as capability on the trail.

Right, keep saying that and you may get others to believe you. Changing the arms on my rig didn't gain much total travel, but made it travel easier, making it noticeably more capable.

I can only get this much:frown:

No but a bit more if the tree trunk didnt run out... I should get about 6 more in.

OMG...you're "tools" aren't working correctly.

Doesnt count with the rear wheel off the ground:flipoff2:

Huh? Move along... nothing to see here. I can't speak to rear wheels... I want to talk about the future. And the future is coils.
