I’ve got a 1969 FJ40 PTO box.
PTO shifts great
Should work up to a 79 FJ40? It works until Toyota switched to a synchronized gear box- I don’t know when that was but I’m p sure it’s late 70s.
Some gunk here and there on the case. Gears, shafts, and bearings have been cleaned and oiled.
Shifter pivot shaft is missing a splint. Bolted it to remaining splint. Functionally the same as far as I can tell.
Also missing 2 12mm bolts on one shaft seal housing. Easily replaceable w JIS 12mm or M12 bolts.
