Looking at getting a portable unit to air back up after the trail. I have a 2016 4-runner and not looking at getting huge tires. Would you guys recommend something like this unit or have any other recommendations?

Thanks,

Love my Puma too. The only downside is the size of the unit. Like @half k cruiser , mine is not mounted in the rig, as I move it from rig to rig using alligator clips to power it.

Your probably talking 4 times faster air up times than a typical 12v pump. For 35" tires I think it was about 1 minute to bring from 15 psi to 35psi.

I bought a Viair 85p for my son for xmas, but it was cheap on black friday deal. More of an emergency type pump in my opinion.

I would also note my PUMA took a beating on my last trip to CO. I am filling up four 315 tires from 10psi to 35psi. The thin altitude makes it difficult for the pump to keep up. I don't remember what the duty cycles are for these but I'm certain its not 15 minutes continuous. Anyhow, you couldn't touch the pump head and the 10awg wires were getting warm. I did this several nights in a row. Here in Kansas its a much quicker fill, like Kelly said, maybe a minute or two per tire.

Thanks guys! I will check it out. Just starting to put together a wish list and trying to prioritize.
