Haha.
Penrite Gear Oil Light SAE 80W-85 is now in the Transfercase of the BJ40. There now is no clunk Sound and Feel Whan I change Gear by have my Foot off the Clutch and the Gearbox in Neutral.
Luckily I tried to undo the Filler Plug of the Gearbox first, As the Head of it is now stripped. :whoops:
Tried it, to thick, and couldn't get enough speed. I also tested the M1 0w-20, good in artic climates, but here in California, it was really thin and slippery and caused me to spring my wrist, I couldn't type for weeks. I'm sticking with 0w-40 for the most stuff and Redline 75w-90 for the rear end.
Cary
People think I'm a pervert because I keep smelling my fingers, truth is, I just like the oil smell.
