Ok, probably been discussed. I changed the sway bar links and put new bushings on the sway bar and rack/pinion. I got the links from 1st gen OR. The are the extended Suspension Maxx links for mild lifts. It pops less, but then started again, even just driving straight down the road slow, it'll pop and creak. It is maddening and these kinds of noises are always so difficult to pin down. Is there a common issue I am unaware of? Thanks.

Control arm bushings if you are getting it all the time.
I planned on replacing the uppers with upgraded ones. I'll have to do the darn lowers too I guess. Appreciate it. Come to think of it, the loudest pop this morning was from the front upper area it sounded like.

I have some SPC uppers still in the box I’ll knock a couple hundred off retail for ya if you want. Shoot me a pm if interested and I’ll send you pictures, and we can go from there.

I appreciate it. I already have JBA Offroad ones on the way. I had them on my last Sequoia (which I regret selling to this day).

I started having a popping noise up front on my 2nd gen sequoia this summer. It sounds almost like a dry balljoint. I also replaced the sway bar and bushings. I haven't dug into it yet, but I will eventually get to it. When I swap out the differentials...you know between now and Neveruary, I was planning on refreshing the control arm bushings and tie rod ends etc... I will probably replace the icon upper control arms and the struts. @bbslider001 Did you ever figure out your issue? Finding noises like those aren't easy when its one person, even jacking up the front to check can cause the issue to vanish while running diagnosis.

I just rebuilt the entire front end this past weekend with all good and $$$ components. I found the one year old old upper ball joints to be beyond serviceable condition. I also found the tie rod on the D/S to be a little loose. Now I get a pop only occasionally. I am good with it because, as you said, very difficult to find the noise on your own or even walking beside it. You almost have to be able to be under it when going over bumps, backing up, etc...I guess a GoPro would work, but I don't have one.

That's such a drag. You'd think replacing all that would eliminate the noise. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Dobinsons struts? My sequoia came with the 2" dobinsons also. I half wonder if perhaps the stut bearings are what is popping. I mean, mine has the tubular uniball Icon UCA's and I greased everything else. Then you replaced everything and still have the pop. I mean the only thing left to pop is the strut bearings in your case.
