I am begining to polish out the FJ40 after painting it with ACE Paint. I have the Poor Boy's light and medium. Can I use the orbital on the truck bed where all of the ridges are? Or, do I try my best to use cloths for the tight areas or areas with ridges etc....I am terrified to burn through the paint.

Thanks
Tom

If you use an orbital on ridges (bed floor, wheel wells, etc...) you are dooming yourself to inevitable issues with any sort of pressure.

You are going to have to polish those areas by hand.

Good luck! The good news is after doing a half a dozen of these, when you go to shake someones hand, you can crush their bones.

Polishing

Thats what I thought. It looks like the whole interior is a hand polishing job. I am almost tempted to just wax and leave it. I am using two stages of Poor Boys and could not believe the shine I got on flat areas after using the cutting wheel and then the polishing wheel. I can also now see my limits on body work knowledge. But, I feel that if I have to, I will spray it again in a few years with total confidence.

Thanks
Tom
