I thought whoever bought Alan Podvin's modified 100 ute is on MUD. If so, you owe us some pictures. Detailed shots of the interior of the bed and other places that were chopped/modified will be appreciated.

Oh, and if you suffer buyer's remorse, pm me!!

Thanks.

Sorry, I have been away for a little while. I am seriously impressed with Alans work. The truck has a 2" suspension lift with a body lift as well. Its currently sitting on 36/14.5 Parnelli Jones Dirt Grips. Excellent tire set up for the truck. It wheels incredibly well and doesn't suffer any lack of power turning the bigger tires. Definitely not having buyers remorse. Anywho, heres a few pics I took this morning beffore my camera battery crapped out on me.

I'll get some clearer ones up later on today.

Anyone notice that GM's newest H2 has 'copied' Alan's sharp looking work?

Steve, I will give you a buzz, maybe this weekend. I've been really busy at work and haven't posted very often.

I have taken the truck to a place called the Prairie and given it a pretty good ride. It performed great, especially given the muddy conditions that are out there. I'm not into the mud thing, ,but figured I'd try it out just for the "H" of it. I'm still washing the fresh/salt water combination out of it. It'll eat the truck in no time. The Prairie is a low lying wetland that meets at the lower base of the Everglades and the 10,000 island coast of SW Fla. Here there are some absolutely endless mud holes and much of it is covered by a brackish water and scrub brush mixture. Not exactly great for the truck, but it was a good time none-the-less.

(I'm hoping to take it to central america next summer for a couple of weeks!)

I'll get more pics up when I find a little more time.

Again, Alan did a super job buttoning the truck up before he sold it. I'd definitely buy from him again.

Thanks,

Doug M.

I have been to Ten Thousand Islands, near Everglades City, Fl since 1968 and I have been fishing there only for one thing, that's the screenname I am using on this forum. Good picky fighting fish, up to 30" long (it making comeback after almost wiped out). If cooked properly, it taste almost like lobster, the texture simply dissolved in mouth.
The smelly but rich mud is powerful suctions and offer zero traction so it is unthinkable to put foot nor tires on it.

OOOH! I didn't realize I missed it until I saw the pictures. Thanks Doug. So, thinking of taking my 4-runner too huh! You're gonna clean us out of Toyotas -Susan

Guys, I promise I will post some pics this evening. I'll try to take as many as possible from every angle possible.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I've been working way too much.

Yes, Susan, I wouldn't mind taking that Runner off of your hands, but only after Alan cuts it and does an axle swap!!!!

:)
