Looking to get a PO box for maybe 1-5 pieces of real mail a year. What and where are my lowest cost options?

A USPS PO box is not to bad if you pay by the year. If you are a business and have a TPT you can use the physical address without it being a PO BOX. They will let FedEx deliver to you and email you when you receive mail. This way you don't have to check the box everyday. One of the few things the USPS actually does right.

I've used a UPS Store box for about 8 years. I love them. They'll receive LARGE shipments (like a big network laser printer/scanner on a pallet) and it's nice I don't have to be there and they accept my stuff from any shipper. I have the smallest box, costs me around $17/mo, and my "home" address is... over there.

I have heard from many people at work involved in amateur racing that this is the way to go

Podunk, and there is a smaller box for less $. From what I understand you need to provide a utility bill or get someone who ownes a box to fill out a form stating you are residing at their residence and use their box.
Buddy of ours is into classic cars, bought a piece of property in Luna NM, win win he says.
