Many PMC members are getting ready to venture out to the Rubicon Trail including myself.

Any Swap Meet questions or inquiries can be forwarded to PMC President Dave Thomas.

The Swap meet is July 12th, just two weeks after Rubithon. It is coming up quick...

Shirt order is to the printer, many members have provided raffle prizes but we need everyone to step up and support your club.

See you there!

OK Team... Swap Meet this Saturday! Please come and participate, We need raffle prizes and folks to help Dave move them.
Jason is on the gate, he will need parking help. Knorr Bros and others for Judges.

We need sellers! Load up those extra parts, price them to sell, and take home some summer cash.

Lets do this!

No worries Doug... as I say, work and family first, then these other shenanigans....

PMC Members, huge shout out and thank you to those who attended in person, worked the event, offered up a raffle prize or simply wished us luck as we completed another success swap meet! Now as chairman, with the help of Dave and Dion of course along with Larry, Jason, Knorr Bros, Andy and a few others, I would say this year was successful, and more so than last year based upon sellers present, 4x4 show participation and overall 'feeling' of robust attendance. While it seemed a bit slow at first (7 or 8 AM), it had certainly picked up by 10 and was looking very good at 11 before the raffle at noon.

I really want to acknowledge and thank our PMC member businesses, Larry Kitahara Yodaman, Georg Esterer Valley Hybrids & Terrain Tamer, Gary Mudrak Custom Cruisers and Chad Wilson Wilson Restoration (where Butch Lewis memory and craftsmanship live on) who were highlighted this year on our event T shirt. We are fortunate to not only have their businesses associated with our club, but to call these fellow off road enthusiasts friends. Thank you so very much, your presence and availability to chat is a huge part of our events 'draw' for lack of a better word.

I'd like to focus on Yodaman for a moment (as this is our Club Forum, for club members). Larry is a what we affectionately refer to as a Charter Member... either around since day 1 like Tim Wehrer or James Henry or Paul Decker, or well over 20 years club attendance (joined 2nd or 3rd meeting). Since joining PMC, Larry has been 100% supportive of not only our club, but literally every TLCA and PMC effort I have undertaken. He has supported every PMC Swap Meet, Holiday Party, Fun Day, Group Camp and general Club Meeting; and he has helped and aided me personally with all 10 of my TLCA Rubithons (and every year since), has helped Jeff Bomke (RIP) and I with all our McGrew Trail Rides, and has been a mentor, advisor and master mechanic for all my Toyota Club and Vehicle issues, problems or opportunities. In his younger days, Larry set the roll over standards and records that gave Bill Staynor a target to shoot for. But yesterday it was Larry again who stepped up to help both our club and me personally achieve success by donating a winch for the raffle grand prize. Thank you Larry! You make us better.

I also want to recognize:
Jason W for stepping up at the gate and covering for Michael... (Michael had knee surgery)
Knorr Bros, Andy H. and Mark it Done for serving as our judges...
Cooper and Dottie Jacob for photos and general charm...
Paul Elbisser for making the trip from Cincinnati to visit... (remember Those Guys?)
Jeeper Ron! James H.! Paul Des.! Don B.! Long time, no see!

Lets see, who else was there... Don G, Big Jim, Anthony C, Stephen K., Jeff N, Ken O, Roger!, and of course, Mr. Ross W. , Past TLCA President, Rubithon Chairman and TLCA Hall of Famer.

All members who contributed received an event shirt and I am holding ones for Daigle, Derum, Dreamin, Howling, Ismert, and Reichmuth.

more details to follow, next meeting is August and then Formal October Meeting (look for new meeting location at Carmens).

Again, thank you all and stay safe!
