since most of use here have a bit more knowledge of hands-on working of things than the common man, i have a plumbing question:
I need to tap into a 3" pve drain line, with either a 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 pvc drain for a sink. Is there any sort of "saddle" type fitting, where i would cust a hole, put a fitting in, and glue some sort of flange around it? or should i cut out a section, put in the tee fitting, and use flexible rubber couplings.
i dont think i have have too much play side-to-side wit the 3 inch drain, but i have not tried, since its not cut.
BTW..the 3" drian is horizontal under the floor, and the sink drain will come across the open bay between the studs, at whatever angle works
thanks
andy
