So, spent quite awhile planning this trip for end of June. Thanks for the early feedback that helped shape our trip plans. Trying to stay offroad as much as possible, with resupply in South Lake, Austin, Hawthorne and Minden.
Max of 120 miles a day off road, total of 7 days. Starting in South Lake through Virginia City, working clockwise out toward Austin, down toward Tonopah, west toward Berlin, finally to Aurora, Bodie and back north toward Yerington.
Staying overnight near Ft. Churchill, Big Den Creek, Potts, Willow Creek, Berlin, Fletcher, and Ludwig.
If you get a chance, check out the attached Google Earth file and let me know what you think. Please add points of interest along the way!
Thanks
Greg

Looks like you have it covered but Dianas punch bowl and Spencers hot springs are cool to check out. If you stop at Spencers be sure to find the natural upper tub, it's a bit nicer than the cattle trough one.

That is my favorite area of Nevada. Have a good time! :)

Looks doable and mucho fun. The campsite in berlin/icthosaur(sp) is a must for over nighting. Check out the fossil dig. I didn't tell you this but they dump some of the unwanted fossil bones behind the dig building.

Have a great time and we want a report and pictures.
