Greetings everone, new to this forum, I bought my 01 lx470 truck a year ago in New York, drives smoothly, did a minor repair and now has 198k miles on it, the previous owner keeps and maintains it very well, and everything looks like new.
However, I was pulled over by police a few months ago due to defective license plate light, I went back home and realized my tailgate had no license plate light at all !!! I checked online with other 470 and lc100, the place that should have light is flat and smooth, it looks just like the car doesn't have rear license plates light.
I did find a mechanic who could install the light for me, he can cut a hole and wire it for me, and I found a compatible part on Amazon, I don't know if my car still has the light cable or wire left inside the trunk, cuz the amazon part only come with light itself
