I had some vibrations when I pulled my trailer, 12' with a RZR 4 on it, bad at acceleration and went away when not pulling. Installed diff drop, same thing, then found the grease zerk on the slip yoke of the rear driveline was broke and it was dry. Greased it and the vibrations went away. Also had modify the sway bar links, sway bar was hitting the front driveline. Added 1 3/4" to the links. Seems good now. My front measurement is 22.25" center of cap to fender and rear is about 23.5".

Def not the driveline being dry... I' do a lube every time i'm under the truck including when i lifted it. The sway bay I suppose is possible, when I looked I saw no interference.

Remember the clacking only happens in forward under load, trans in neutral or in reverse no clacking.

i am a straight axle cruiser head just surfing to see what settup is best for the ifs tc or carls or the best combo for my kids tacoma front end and see you have a bit of a problem . i m no mechanic but what could hit if your motor mount was broken ,that is where i would start, and dont think that if you grease all the time that it is going into everywhere it is supposed to ,if your a grease freak try doing it after a long drive, plus on the slip yoke when it is pulled apart under load or broken mount (motor or trany)could be alittle sloppy, or about to come apart. back in the day we used to weld full circle beads on the slip joints to tighten things up for the track . i wont be back here hope this helps good luck and if any one has a good settup sugestion for a 2000 tacoma wishing to stay ifs long travel on the cheap home fab would be great please send me a pm thanks
