Did these a while back and somebody asked for photos. Just getting the truck back together now so here's what they look like. I really like the look and the texture. I sanded and primed before application. This stuff ain't coming off. I just did my running board caps to match today.

Yeah I skipped on these for a set of Nitto TG's on another truck a few years ago. Learned my lesson. The Toyos are a much better tire IMHO.

Nice job. Just did the center caps for my LX along with the nasty gold emblems. I'll probably do the wheels as well. Did the wheels on my wife's Mazda5. The stuff is amazing. Only comes off when you're ready, peels off nice if you put enough coats on.

I dunno - I did a chrome bumper on a Superduty and the stuff peeled on the edges. It was a beotch to get off.

I may try again and take the bumper off the truck and the trim off the bumper. Then the taped edge issue will be eliminated.

Fresh on I don't like it. Faded after a few weeks I do. Everyone to their own tastes.

Who ever thought up those Toyota " Gold Packages " should be water boarded till convinced that black and silver is better. LOL

Seriously the gold is horrible. My wife's wheels haven't budged as far as peeling. I hit them with about 5 coats, almost a whole can each tire. I watched a ton of vids of a dude on how to do it, dipyourcar site or something like that. Taking the bumper off would help. For a cheap appearance change it's ok, like you said to each his own. I was wondering how putting just black center caps on would look, not bad.

The only thing better than black center caps is no center caps ;).
