Bad things happen when I have the day off and and I am left at a Toyota dealership. Last week we dropped my 4runner off for service and I instructed the service advisor NOT to run my black vehicle through the automatic wash at the dealership. When I picked the 4runner up the paint looked like someone had handwashed it with sandpaper - it looked terrible. I expressed my displeasure and they offered to have it buffed at no cost yesterday. After a few hours I was still unhappy with the damaged paint and made a joke about trading it in on a new Tundra. At the end of the day I took the Tundra home and I have to say I am loving it. We'll be trading the Prius in on the refreshed 4runner coming out later this year. This does change my plans on an FJ60, I think instead I will be looking for an FJ40 as a weekend rig. The main question is who is riding with me to superlift this summer?

Nice looking truck! Should pull a 40 nicely when you get one.

What's the deal with the carwash at the dealership?? Why did it do that?

What dealership was this at?

Nice Tundra! We just got a Sequoia and I LOVE the 5.7.

A few weeks back, me and my brother put an ARB Safari Bar and an M12000 on his Tundra as well as a 3" coil spacer lift and 1" diff drop. Looks great but it needs 33's now!
