Place to camp in Seattle area (1 Viewer)

Hey guys.

I am passing through Seattle tonight and I am looking for a place to camp. I would prefer to not stay in an RV parking lot.

Hopefully you guys might share some local hidden gems.

Hi Eric, all the places I have been are east of Seattle by a fair bit. Up past Roslyn for example, or down off of FS70 past Greenwater. Maybe some other folks who know the area better can chime in with some additional and possibly closer spots.

Yeah that seemed to be the case when we passed through. Decided to push onto the border for the night and are staying in Birch Bay. Seems pretty nice so far.
Then back up to Kanuckistan tomorrow morning.

Larrabee State Park | Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission

Just south of Bellingham. Worth the drive with the windows down.

Fall colors are pretty amazing along Chuckanut Dr.

Taylor Shelfish Farm is our go-to spot.

Since you'll be in a cruiser, just find a forest service road and there will be tons of camping on those.Take the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. Lots of camping.
