Long story short - I've owned two built 80's and one built 100 previously. Life got in the way but I finally got another Land Cruiser.
It's an 06 with AHC. My goals for it is an expedition vehicle with light to moderate rock crawling. We just got back from Death Valley where it did very well but because of the small street tires, we avoided some of the more difficult areas of the park such as Titus canyon due to snow and rain. With that said, here's what I'm thinking and feel free to add any constructive advice:
Things I have but need to install -
1. 1" body lift
2. 30mm rear spacers
3. Slee AHC override (not sure I need this?)
4. Slee front skid
What I'll be getting -
1. Tires, I'm thinking 295/70/18's
2. Raise AHC sensors
3. Rear swing out
4. Belly plate and middle skid plate. Maybe these? (TJM Sump and Transmission Guard)
5. Sliders
The body lift looks like a pain so if your in the local area and have experience, let me know.
More on Death Valley but the whole trip was about 1600 miles. AHC was very comfortable and the heated seats were incredible.
