Pitiful Fantasy year turns out good for the cruiser

So every year we play a 10 team fantasy football league, me, my brother, a bunch of my friends, and my wife has a team as well as a good friend of mine's wife. Long story short our "manly" football league ended up with the two ladies in the playoffs. I know don't ask me how. Anyways my wife won it this year and with her winnings the cruiser will be getting her first winch. I bought and installed the MAN A FRE 4 plus bumper that was specifically designed for the Warn 8274. My question is about the 12V vs 24V, I guess I don't understand the reason someone would want 24V, (dual batteries maybe) but when I do install dual batteries my thought was to have one specifically set up for starting purposes. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions about what and where to make this purchase. Thanks, Brian

You want 12V unless you have a 24V truck like a BJ or HJ or a military application like a hummer.

Thank you, thats what I thought, I didnt know that hummer's were 24v and I couldnt figure out why someone would want a 24v winch. Ordered up the warn 8274-50 this morning. Thanks again.
