Most of their bias ply tires measure small. Like a 35 might be close to a 33 (or smaller) once you air it down. The sidewalls are real stiff. Stiff enough that they blow beads easy when aired down. I've heard of people pulling the valve cores and driving around a bit to break in the sidewalls.
I had a set of bias ply Rockers. Traction was good and the road manners were tolerable (compared to a Super Swamper). The height problem, too wide, and kept blowing the beads made me sell them and run something else.
I hear the radial versions measure more true and work a bit better. Never tried them.
Interesting, I was looking at a set of 37" radial rockers for the white 80. Not my first choice, but hard to beat 50% off. Under a grand for a set of 37s seems like a deal to me.
I'm running 5.29s behind the old 3FE and mines a Saturday afternoon/ trail rig in the making so I may pull that trigger. Gonna talk it over with my "accountant" when I get home.
Well damn, I'm out. I just clicked on the link in the original post and they changed the end time of the sale from midnight to 5pm central and I'm on the road. Oh well, but good on them for doing the sale.
