ok this is what im doing.
73 cruiser,just put in 4spd trans/3spd case conv.
i got some 4spd d-shafts and put in the 3spd slip yokes for the t case side.but i now need the pinion flanges from 4 spd axles.
question is are the pinion flange splines the same on these axles(early 73,later 75-?).
i would think that if i get flanges that came off of a later cruiser with 4.10 ratio i would be fine.or can i get flanges off of a 3.70 ratio as well???
last but not least what is the 4spd pinion nut size?
3spd is 1 1/16" but the 4spd is bigger.
please someone throw me a bone cause :stupid:

77-older pinion flanges are all 10 spline, so they interchange.

Additionally, 77-older t-case brake drums and front output flanges are all splined the same, and can likewise interchange. Almost make t-case swaps TOO easy!

thanks woody
