Pin-out on stock radio for external audio input

Noticed on the back of the head unit there's a (12 pin?) connector for the remote CD changer. That should also mean that there is a good low level input for connecting external audio devices (iPod, mp3s, Sirius, etc).

I've seen some "ready made" units for connecting iPods to the Toyota units, but in my case they are over the top ($$$) since I am only looking for "audio in", not to control the (audio) device.

Anyone has any ideas or possible access to the actual pin-out on said connector (it is in the lower rear right corner of stock unit if you are looking at it from the front). Or suppliers of cheap ready made connectors?

Oh man I see where you're going and I'd love to have this information too!

Anyone willing to take a multitester to their Dice or SoundLinq (?) iPod units, or to their remote CD changer hook-up?

My guess is that a "jumper" is needed as well to allow the stock unit to detect the external audio source. So you sort of can "cycle" CD1, CD2, etc. CD2 being the external source.

You guys out there with same head units, and external CD changer, is that how it works?

Usa spec made an adapter that pugs into that socket. It will connect to any portable device that has the standard earphone plug. You can have mine for a reasonable offer...I paid $150 for it.

I have since changed the head unit and added an aftermarket amp, new separate speakers, etc etc . It's just sitting around so make me an offer. I would like to get $50 for it OBO.
