Recently I went from Kuala Lumpur to IPOH (205k away) to visit the Volvo in hospital in the yellow truck and then up to Gopeng 29k away. On the way to Gopeng I could smell diesel got to Gopeng at the equipment shed and opened the bonnet DIESEL everywhere. Fuel leak damn.
I left the truck as next day it would not start and had no time to look at it so caught the train home.
Last weeekend I busted some ribs during the TV shooting so in too much pain to look at at it. So yesterday decided to have a look pumped the priming pump and slowly a trickle of diesel appeared eventually we traced it to the fuel filter took it off and their is a PINHOLE in it.
You can see the pin hole in the pin (that little dirty dot) on the top half of the filter. Anyone ever seen this before or know the cause? A new filter being installed today and I will catch the train up next friday night and bring it back.
This is the Volvo as at the latest pic on Saturday when I had a quick visit on my way to mothersday dinner. Radiator installed and fan running next is intercooler fan.
Not long before the thump of a 14B-T is heard.
