I spotted a white and blue two tone FJ55 at a collector car shop off of Knox Abbot rd in Columbia. The owner has two FJ40's and a totally complete FJ55 along with an ass of Defender 90's, MGs, Austin's and a couple of Ferraris...

The pig is for sale, "$4000 range" the guy said. I dont think he knows much about FJ's so... The car looked good as far as I could tell. I could take some pictures if someone was really interested.

Charles was his name

The building is set back in a crummy shopping mall off of knox abbot. Once you get closer to the place you will see the pig in the open garage area. Its called Columbia Museum of Classic Vehicles I think.

It's not as good as I originally thought.. It is complete, but decent at best. Appears to have been a daily driver and same color combo as yours I believe.

I stopped by over lunch to see what he had. The FJ55 is not his, but belongs to a customer. Its not too bad, has the usual rust in the front quarters and the roof gutter. It has some long shackles to compensate for flat springs. I was in my work clothes so I didn't crawl underneath. He didn't have time to show me his shop (museum), but he has 50 + vehicles, lots of rovers. He has a '83 FJ40 that he bought new. He said its one of the last, if not the last FJ40 sold in the US. It was built in August or September of '83. His business is doing repairs on mainly british and italian cars. He was going to call the owner of the 55 to see if they were interested in selling.
