Does anyone on here have the pictures from the How to: Step by step Swivel Hub Rebuild post originally put together by SteelArt?
I have PM'd Steelart a couple of times with no response...would really love to see the pics along with the write up if anyone has them?!

Cheers lacalvette but I am talking about the Swivel hub break down and rebuild post, sometimes they are also called the front knuckles but its the big ball things!
SteelArt posted it up here a couple of years ago as well as on a 4x4action forum over here in aus and the write up is still there but no pics are being displayed...

Just do a google search and a lot of threads come up. That said, when I did my swivel hub job a few months ago I relied primarily on the factory service manual. Download the appropriate manual for your landcruiser and have a good read through the section on the front axle. Here are a few links I found just now with a few minutes of google search. They are for various different models, but the fundamentals of the Toyota solid front axle are basically the same throughout. Most importantly make sure you keep track of the shims when they come out, or you will not be able to correctly align the knuckle with the axle housing without a specialty tool. Take your time, clean every thing well, paint stuff, service your brakes while you are in there.

Thanks GTS, I had found a couple of good links like these, but the write-up posted by SteelArt was for the exact same cruiser as what I have, so it would just be making the process that little bit easier for me! That said I am pretty confident I will be able to get the job done over a weekend without too much headache!
Cheers!
