A few LEDs really brighten up the old cluster

Found this on yahoo auctions japan last week and could not resist picking it up as it looked brand new and just like mine in shape etc. Just got here this afternoon so will have to see if I can make it work as there seem to be slight differences but it looks so nice. I know it came from a UJZ100 but just not sure what year.

always an odd moment when you unplug an airbag, wish I had waited a few days to do the LEDs in the cluster as it would have been a lot easier getting the cluster out with no wheel in the way.

but new wheel went in perfectly! :)

also picked up a pair of sliders from a guy with a tundra for a steal so now have to cut them down a bit and have new extensions welded out and on to the frame.

its nothing complicated just a few screws but I would not pull it to fix the D light. Mine are burnt out on both the LX and LC and I purposely did NOT replace it as its nicer not having the bright green light shining at you at night.

My light was out when I got the truck two years ago. A good whack on the top of the dash and it has been working with no problem.

yeah, the LX would initially respond to said whack but eventually it went out fully and after getting used to not having it on I prefer it that way.

Nice. It might be perfect as is actually. All the others work, except D. That way you know if you do see a light, your wrong.

Respect.
That really is an absurd price at 6k as damn near all of the exporters would have paid way more to shoot it off to Russia, South America, et al.
Could not agree more about that a modern double DIN does to these trucks. Brings them up to plenty current for me.

eventually got around to blacking out the bumpers. still need to weld on sliders. man a fre 1" spacers for the rear are on the way from another member and then will crank up the torsion's to help accommodate the 33" AT's.

with help from a fellow member/welder re cut the slider ends with proper angles and welded them shut and new brackets to attach to the frame. Look great like they came this way.

Awesome work.

Though I will admit, my main reason in posting is to ask for more pic of the Supra. Have had two and just love the look and sound...

thanks. yeah its old but very stout, lifts the LC with ease. had to swap out my rear drive shaft Sunday and its nice to be able to have all wheels off the ground at the push of a button to be able to spin the shaft.

Fellow mud member corleykj dropped of a bumper he built for me today! :)

Need to do some minor finishing and then coat it if the weather lets up. Cant wait to get it mounted!
