Does anyone have a pic of the Hella 500's mounted on a stock bumper with the stock hole/bolt?

I'm unaware of a "stock hole/bolt" for auxiliary lights. Elaborate, please.

These are not in the stock hole, I didn't like the look so I drilled my own. IIRC the stock holes are outboard of my lights but in a similar position as far as clearing the grill. Sorry, this is the best pic I have on hand.

Here are some Hella FF75 fogs in the bumper of our `97. I had to slap together some custom brackets inside the bumper to mount the lights to, but it was simple with some angle iron.

Pop off the chrome running along the top of the front bumper and there are holes that are a perfect fit for mounting lights. Thats how mine are mounted.

Derek,

Looks pretty clean!

Is there enough light output in the foul weather to make a difference? I know too much light is not good in adverse weather condition, but...

Definately enough light. I like Hella's "free-form" reflector design. Of all the "mini" lamps I've experienced, these have put out the best light and best pattern for fogs. As good as if not better than the factory fogs on our 100 Series. Too much light is fine as long as it's patterned and aimed appropriately.

I can post up some PIAA 520's in the stock bolt this evening if you're interested.

Sorry - been down from the list for awhile - if you could post those pics I'd appreciate it!

dclee - while I greatly prefer the ARB front bumper - that's the nicest stock looking install I've seen yet. Looks great.

Thanks Junk! I just wish I still had the truck, but the wife wouldn't let me have too many toys...
