Time to sell my mostly stock Hundy. I've owned her since 155k and was going to start the restoration process but don't have the time and $$$ to do so. She's a mechanically sound daily driver and well taken care of. Synthetic oil every 5k and only premium unleaded fuel. I've kept all receipts for major work and some for minor maint. Would make a great candidate for a restoration or overland build, or even a safe first vehicle for a teenager. She's taken me just about everywhere off-road in AZ without issues.

Asking $10,850 obo. Not in a hurry to sell.

  • Rear E-locker works
  • Torsion bars cranked for 1.5" lift
  • Ironman Diff Drop
  • CV Axles rebooted in 2021 with McMaster rounded edge clamps
  • Timing belt replaced at 199k so may need to be replaced within the next 15-20k
  • Rack & Pinion Replaced beginning of 2021
  • Tundra wheels with 305/65-18 BFG AT KO2s about 80% tread left
  • 2003+ TOYOTA Grill with one piece Depo lights
  • Cold AC
  • Accident free
  • Leak free
  • Interior is clean and conditions is a solid 7 out of 10 IMO
  • No check engine and passes emissions

The Bad:
  • Heater on its way out, rear works but not front, not a big deal in the desert but might be for colder climates
  • Door lock actuators need replacement - does not lock with key fob or electric locks, only manually. I haven't locked her for years.
  • Has desert pin striping and some dents/scrapes - nothing major IMO, but noticeable up close
  • Needs a paint job. Clear coat is beyond faded on hood, roof, and rear bumper cover - got quoted $4500-$8k for a full body restoration and paint
  • Front bumper was replaced and never painted as I liked the black look
  • Passenger rear door strap torn, door does not stay open
  • Both front seats showing signs of wear and cracking. Not major yet but only getting worse.

Feel free to PM me with questions and to get my contact info to talk over phone or text.

Awesome, you think it was worth it?
Definitely. I love the stock look and the quality is better than most aftermarket I’ve purchased. Price was reasonable too considering other custom grills with the TOYOTA emblem are more expensive.

Where are most having luck selling their Hundys? I’ve had mine posted on Mud, local Craigslist, and OfferUp for a month with not one single inquiry. Maybe I’m asking for too much $$$ or not marketing well enough but I thought demand was higher for them.
