"Hey big guy, you a golfer" - Roger Dorn
I have no idea if this is a respectable record of sorts but.......I just changed 2 PHH's in 2 days. Yesterday, for those of you not in the Los Angeles area, was done so in pouring down rain.
The second was harder than the first for two reasons: the back clamp was at a more "pesky" position (I don't have a cut off wheel for my little dremmel so I could not cut this clamp off
) and also the 97' LX was the second one done and the original hose was in far better shape than the 93' was. Therefore it was more difficult to manuvere and cut off (the 93' was in such bad shape that it peeled right off).
All in all it wasn't too tough, I had to get creative and jimmy rig a few steps together using the tools that I had at my disposal. I could have never done it without the aid of all the write ups on this board
. For those who are nervous I have a 1/2
mechanical brain. My arms are long and skinny and I think that it helped alot.
I also flushed both radiators (1 red, 1 green--I kept with what the PO of each used), and changed the belts on the LX. Anyways thanks for all the support.
