Definitely a HUGE improvement. Need to rig up a gear selector override so we can light them up at will. Anyone wanna write that up? :D

I have Paul's 5-watt reverse lights, an IPF reverse light mounted on the roof rack, and a backup camera. Between the three, I have no problem seeing anything behind me at night.

And as mcgaskins said, when you put the truck in reverse, people know that you will be backing up! That is probably one of the best features :steer:

I ordered a set...$35.00, Fast shipping and extremely well built. 6 screws later and now I don't need to put auxiliary lights on my roof rack!
Thanks for the GREAT info!

I like them, but to be honest I think they're most useful for letting other cars and pedestrians know you're in reverse. The light is super focused and if you're in a dark parking garage it can be difficult to see what's just behind your bumpher. In crowded parking lots though where people are driving around fast and crazy, they're amazing - you put it in reverse and everyone nearby stops and waits :D.

Funny you should mention this feature as I've noticed the exact same thing. There is a certain neck twisting/head snapping ability of these lights to get people’s attention whether it is other drivers or pedestrians. I like them for this and many other reasons.
