It's in the front of the left valve cover, and sits in a rubber grommet atht might break. You can use carb or brake cleaner to clean it out if it's not too clogged up already. You should be able to shake it and have the piston inside move freely. If there is chunks of carbon in it, or it's frozen up, just replace it.

I got it. I also spent a frustrating hour online trying to find where it was with no luck. It's amazing how difficult it can be to find some simple information.
The Seafoam worked great. I think I fumigated half the neighborhood. I used 1/2 the can on the first try & 25 minutes later it was still smoking at idle, so I went ahead & ran the 2nd half of the bottle through.
It idles much smoother now & even starts easier.
Plugs are coming up here soon & I've found all the information on them here.
Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it.

Has anyone cleaned a PCV valve? How much does one cost from Toyota?

Be sure to check the PCV valve grommet. They tend to dry out and harden with time. The cost is a few bucks at the dealer.

Just had replaced pcv valve and hose on my 2003 TLC while replacing fuel filter. It does not have a grommet. It just screws in and out. You will have to spray some penetrator to loosen it up little bit, then use 22mm wrench and 💪. Pretty straightforward. Attached is the picture of the old one.
