I am putting a 60 series engine in my 40 (It is already in) but have a question on the rear pass side mount. The round rubber mounts - do the 2 of them get stacked together with the bracket from the bell housing on top? Not sandwiched in between like the other side. The sandwiching approach doesn't look right as they do not fit flush because of the webbing on the bracket. Thanks

Provided you have a factory rear engine mount bracket and not something custom:

The engine mount bracket sets on one of the rubber isolators, and the other is on the bottom of the frame brace, with the bolt passing through the affair and the castle nut and cotter pin being used to retain the set up. If the bolt is worn, get a new one.

Factory Everything. Sounding like a total idiot... Working from the top Down. Nut, Washer,Bracket from bellhousing,Rubber Mount,Frame Bracket,Rubber Mount,Washer, Bolt.??
Thanks

You have everything correct, except I would run the bolt down through the engine mount bracket and isolators, so that the castle nut and cotter pin are on the bottom and not on the top. You want the bolt to stay in place in the even the nut falls off.

x2 on what Poser said.

If you are reuising the original mounts and hardware, you cannot help but notice the rounded underside of the head of the bolt, and the corresponding depression in the motor mount bracket, where they have rubbed on each other for the last 40 years!

Best
