First, I noticed that Shop Lexus Parts and Accessories Online - https://parts.lexus.com currently has free shipping for all orders over $75 which seems like a good deal.

Second, coming from the high-mileage Volvo world, I have a habit of carrying spare parts on long trips (2000+ miles), because the worst thing is to have an ignition coil fail on you in a rural area & you have to re-plan your trip around obtaining a part that isn't stocked locally.

Here's what I generally had on hand for my Volvo alongside a barebones toolkit with all the necessary sockets, wrenches, ratchets, allen keys, Torx bits, jumper cables, JB weld, super glue, high-vis vest, traffic cones, tire repair kit, OBD-II reader, etc:
  • 1 spare ignition coil
  • spare spark plug(s)
  • spare MAF
  • spare fuel filter
  • essential auxiliary belts / tensioners
  • quart of appropriate oil (always)
  • gallon of appropriate coolant
Is there anything else you guys would suggest I keep in the car for long road trips?

I figure this current deal on parts.lexus.com is a good time to stock up on spare.

I've had good luck with this place and while no free shipping... anything not oversized like a hitch gets 50% off shipping with

code GXORFIFTYOFF23

You just can't expect next day Amazon delivery. They don't charge sales tax either.

Bell Lexus has good deals as well.
