Wanted Parts for fabbin' my swing out tire carrier (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, I'm looking for a couple of parts for my rear tire carrier. Anyone know of a supplier where i can get a latch for the swing out, and i also need the parts to make the hinge, using conical bearings, not bushings. thanks

check at a local marine supply store they usually carry heavy duty spindles with bearings. however iron pig offroad does sell the spindles but there bushing-style


currently two recent carrier build ups and i think one used a latch, might try there.

I got my De-sta-co latch from MSCdirect.com - great service and selection. I also used a 40 front spindle for the hinge; it's heavy duty, you can lock it open, and you can use it as a spare.
