I will be posting this up in the Classifieds section soon but thought I would throw it out here first.

I (I mean Al) will be parting out my 1995 FZJ 80 in the comming weeks. This is due to a lot of reasons.

#1 the thing is a basket case.
#2 it would take more to get in a decent expidition shape then it is worth
#3 I can't park it at my new residence so it saves on storage and insurance
#4 it is going to be used to help build Deirdre's 80 so I can focus on one vehicle.
#5 I don't need a supercharger

Here are the main parts I am plan on keeping

Front bumper, winch/rope/fairlead, front drive shaft, rear bumper/spare, sliders, t-case saver, Air Compressor/Tanks, DB switch/cables, OEM hand throttle, WB relocation kit, Drivers side sunvisor hood shocks, seat and antenea switches.

Main parts that I will be getting rid of.

Tires (315 BFG AT 2 with 50% 2 with much less) on some aftermarket wheels, Early Slee 5" lift, Axles have 4.88 gears and ARB Air lockers installed (I think Al already claimed these), Super Charger with correct fan, New aluminum radiator, Engine,Tranny (not in best shape me thinks) and T-case, ARB air manifold, Snorkle, Slee HL harness, New Windsheild (less than 500 miles, then of course all of the other things that one may want like seats, switches, body panels (most dented), etc

Yeah, after driving it last night there is some work needed on that rig and since Jason wants a lot of the good parts for his rig parting it seems the best thing to do. I set the toe out hoping that would help with the DW since it did on mine and other trucks with similar problems. No dice. The wobble wasn't anywhere near as violent as mine can be but it was a constant thing from about 40 mph - 85 (90 seemed a good cruising speed) and fast as that thing is it wasn't too hard to do that. Wasn't hard to control just really really annoying and vibrated the piss out of my hands (fell like I had been wrestling an elephant by the time I got home)

Yeah i've already claimed the axles and with it the lockers and gears in this thing but I will also be selling by spare Fzj80 front and rear axles and sending the money Jason's way. The more money we can get him the more likely it is he will be able to get and keep that elusive 43. (also claimed the snorkle)

I'll start taking and posting up pics soon enough.
As for the body (hood is straight has oxidation)
drivers fender has dent but can be rolled out real easy
passenger fender has hole cut in it for the snorkle so most likely no one will want that.
Doors are all straight (I believe have to look again)

Drive train
Super charger (I can attest that this thing works and really wakes up this beast I was actually sort of impressed with the acceleration of this thing on the ride home and kept forgetting I was driving a 6,000 lbs rig)
From reading old posts it seems that the motor was replaced a little while back with a new long block. Have to look for the old posts again but I would, for now, guess <60k on engine
Tranny seems original and seems to surge a little untill warm.
T-case works fine and shifts real easy
Rear drive shaft is fine
Complete FZJ80 axles front and rear stock gears non lockers $1000 for both (these are not the ones on jasons rig, these are in great shape) The front was taken out of a rig at a dealer and replace under warranty for what later was just a bad spindle only had 60k on it) Rear is from a rig with around 140K on it.

Other
Radiator is a new aluminum one with less than 500 miles on it
Same with the fan
Two batteries (advance brand I believe)
Just about everything else.
This is a complete rig

Interior
Dash is in good shape (has center vent missing where the gps unit sits)
seats are trashed Same with all the door panels (I've already called dibs on that because as bad as they are they are better than mine)
One of the panels in the rear is missing.
Motors on seats work good though.
Sun roof motor works awesome also.

Suspension
Slee 5inch OME lift
includes springs
shocks
Slee gen 2 radius arms
adjustable panhards front and rear
I believe the rear upper control arms are adjustable also like on my rig but I will have to crawl under it and look again.
I think it has sway bar drop brackets also

Tires and wheels
4 315 BFG AT tires and wheels (I would say they are at more than 50% but will gauge them and post up the 32nd's)
Included in price of wheels is a free powder coat on them.

All other parts available

Jason is keeping
Front bumper, winch/rope/fairlead, front drive shaft, rear bumper/spare, sliders, t-case saver, Air Compressor/Tanks, DB switch/cables, OEM hand throttle, WB relocation kit, Drivers side sunvisor hood shocks, seat and antenea switches.

Let me know details on the windshield, I need one and call dibs. :) Also, I am interested in some of the engine accessories such as power steering pump and AC compressor. PM prices if you don't want to post it up here.

I think I'd also like to relieve you of the adjustable panhards and the rear upper control arms (they are indeed adjustable).

Al I can come on down to help pull parts.

Greg/Joe, Jason and I are hammering out a final price sheet and parts sheet soon. Will get back to you. I'm going to need to move some things around in my driveway to start pulling parts off of this thing.

I think the plan was to try and keep all the suspension together, but like I said we are going to need to work on this, but with his move coming up might take a few days or a week or two.
One thing I would need if ONSC members buy the suspension is your stock stuff to borrow, so I can still move it around, and then give back to you after all is said and done.

Al I think you could probably find a spare stock suspension we could loan between on the lifts that have been installed. That way you have everything you need up front when ready to swap.

Vultures.... all of you Vultures :flipoff2: JK

Joe the PS pump leaks
I believe the AC works but I will go start and cycle it today make sure it works right.

How about the antenna assembly and the power seat switches on both sides?

I believe that Jason is keeping the antenna switches and seat switches for himself.

The seat motors work fine. The Antenna motor (I think will have to check) works fine but the antenna has been snapped off a long time ago.

I've got a stock suspension I've taken off our 80, wouldn't mind a swap for some of the small stuff (like carpets if in decent shape) and I'll also have a set of non-locker axles whenever I get time to swap the lockers I have in the garage, sitting about 3 in the project list...

:meh: well it is titled "parting out"

Im interested in the following:

front Gen II control arms
Rear adj. panhard
windshield

Trying to keep all the suspension together for the time being unless it doesn't sell.

Joe already called dibs on the windshield....... I need one also should have called dibs myself.

The carpet is in decent shape, but none in the rear, rhino lined.
I'm going to throw my spare axles under it for the time being and also sell them at the end of the build.

That sucks, what I really need is the rear section. Oh well.

Let me know if you need the stock suspension...

Whew,

Yeah I'm taking a break from cleaning and moving my garage...what a PIA.

Found Ramon's Coozie with opener...I'll ship it back to you.

PS pump leaks and really really really bad. Carpets are probably toast. AC Does work...I just charged it when I got it so it might have a leak in the system somewhere but it worked for a couple months when I turned it on last.

I am keeping the seat switches and the antenna switches (interior winch controls).

Final price list will be later tonight....still packing and we have to be 100% out tonight as still a lot of little things left....The trash bags are filling up quick with all of those small things that you just say :flipoff2: it.

I'll keep this in the NC forum for a couple weeks before releasing it to the world. The extra money I do make is to finish Deirdre's build and get this FJ43 here. Shipping prices went thru the roof and it almost isn't worth it anymore. Just over an aditional 5K from what I have already sunk in it to get it here.
