I bought a HJ61 in Europe from an estate sale and will be parting it out in December . I have many things planned in the little time that I am there so I am just gonna grab from this one what is a no brainer to me like engine, trans, both axles, steering gear box and some interior parts plus things that have to be removed anyways to get to the parts I want.

It had been parked for the last 8 year and has only 210k km or about 125K miles on it but it had been used at a Horse ranch and for hunting purposes. The original owner passed away and the kids sold it but had no idea how to start it after sitting for all this time. I will fire it up before I take it apart , body panels are not worth bringing as you can clearly see but if you need a specific HJ61 or 24 volt part then let me know , I am not removing the entire wire harness as that takes way to long. This cruiser will roll in to the shop there early morning and late night whatever is left will be sitting on the trailer for scrap the next day.

So if there are any requests now is the time to come up with them.

Thanks

Joe

Not sure of the exact name of the part, but I am looking for the 24v solenoid that controls the transfer into 4wd. It’s on the firewall by the heater control valve, but here is a photo of it in case I’m not making sense.

It’s for an ‘86 LHD HJ60 with a 2H, but I think I remember reading somewhere that they were the same for the hj61. PM me if it’s available and a price. Thanks!

I will take a pic of it when I am in Europe to compare the two different versions, if it is not a match I might have one of these in the shop here from 24v 7x models.

How much for the side view mirrors?
100$ for the pair , not sure how good they are but I did notice in the pics that at least one of the little screw caps is missing. This is an item that I will definetly bring.

Hi Matt that is an oem light and it is I believe for the fuel filter. I will put it down on my list of things to pull.

Kinda weird request but if it has a 24V dash/overhead mounted compass/Clinometer/temp gauge. Grab it and the the corresponding male/female connector. That would be great
Thanks
J
PS- I don’t need them but someone will: front and rear lights, housings etc

If it has one which I doubt I would definetly bring that as I never had any problem selling those ;-) Front and rear lights I only bring if they are pristine......which they are usually not .

bet some Audi/VW/whatever owner would want the front plate too (I don't, but let me tell you what to do lol)

Maybe anyone owning a Renault, Citroen or Peugot but I doubt whoever owns a German car wants a French license plate on it ;-)

How much for the complete rear diff hub to hub ?

I would like the 24v gauge cluster. Hope all work. How much? Also VSV that shuts engine off.

The vsv stuff belongs to the engine but I can sell the dash but you are second in line for that right now , I will let you know if the first guy passes on it.

Thanks

Joe what about the front passenger seat belt mechanism? Are straps good and it retracts fine. All plastic good?

I have no idea , the cruiser sits in a field in Europe at the moment and I will b3 seeing it for the first time soon.

K interested if it is cause need to replace my 85 FJ60 pass belt for the wife.

She does not like reaching to floor for the connector...I can meet you local in DFW.

Nice find Btw...you doing Christmas in Europe, or should say Belgium?

Yes I will be spending Christmas with my family and friends in Europe , it has been a while that I was there for the holidays.
