Has anyone seen or created a partial soft top that goes just from the roll bar (horizontal span across rear wheels) to the rear doors? (covering top and sides on back quarter). In other words, the back part of the truck is top and side covered and the back seats to the front are topless. I've seen pics of a topless '73 with full rear doors and it's an odd look. Just trying to think outside the box as an alternative to putting in half doors but having a topless option in the summer months (for a truck I don't have yet but will soon). Thanks!

You would have to custom make this. It could be made pretty cheaply though.

I used a bimini top for a Jeep YJ.
Smittybilt Extended Top For 92-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ and used this for the header:
Smittybilt 90101 Windshield Channel for 76-95 CJ-7, CJ-8 Scrambler & Wrangler YJ

Total for those was $88 shipped.

That worked from the front and covered the passenger seats. However, I did remove the rear doors and have been meaning to find/make half doors.

You can see how far this bikini top goes back.

So you can either take a premade top like this, and "shift" it backwards so it covers the rear doors and cut/sew it or just run like this. The other option is a custom top like @jfrench has built for his, but he has an aftermarket cage.

Or go all out like I want to like @CRZR45 did by getting a softop from @4060seriesnut Looks like a great modular softtop setup for full or half rear doors.
