I have searched/googled, etc for part numbers for 100 series drain and fill plugs for front and rear diffs and transfer case. The FAQ post has the gasket numbers but not for the plugs. Mine (model year 2000), especially the rear diff drain plug, is a little banged up so i figured i might as well replace them all when i change the fluids.

All I can seem to find is the part number for the transmission drain plug.

Sorry if I am missing something, but just can't seem to find the numbers.

Anyone use the absolute-wits-end plugs?

Thanks.

Well, don't i feel stupid. Thanks and not sure why i could not find it. i typically use Olathe Toyota parts lookup or Cambelback and was not having any luck.

Didn't mean my post didn't come off that way. Once you get used to searching that parts.toyota.com, and know what to put in the search bar its a snap. If you load your model year into the search tool and create a book mark, you can click the bookmark-search-find in really short time.

Have fun draining and filling diff's....

Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy hex head drain/fill plugs. I'd give you a link but I bought mine 2yrs ago, diffs, t-case and transmission all take the same plug so I bought an entire set of plugs from Australia as it was cheaper than buying stateside even with shipping.
That way you use a standard metric socket ot wrench instead of a Allen wrench and strip out the plug and then you're screwed.
Full set was $90 from a Land Cruiser specialist in Australia. I do not remember the name, sorry.

What about the little rubber gasket that goes around the fill plug? (I ended up reusing mine) I can't seem to find that part anywhere. Like at Denny's, I gotta have pics before ordering to make sure it looks the same.

FYI - I put my LX up on ramps (heavy duty plastic ramps from Harbor Freight) this weekend and did a drain and fill and got 3.25 quarts out. (more than I was expecting)

The fill plug is 24mm and the ring is rubber. That is where I'm confused... Part number 35178-30010 is for the 14mm drain bolt.

The link posted has been changed — is there a new one?

Thanks, mate.

Magnetic diff drain kits available for 80, 100, 200

Magnetic center diff drain kits (t-case) available for 80, 100, 200

Part numbers are included on all my kits on my website. I'm a believer in sharing my research for those who are curious/need to resupply on their own.

I also have differential crush washer resupply kits available for 80, 100, 200

Are these replacements for originals or do our originals not have magnets ? I can't remember

OEM drain plugs have magnets. OEM fill plugs do not

A lot of shops replace the fill with a magnetic fill after a regear or some kind of breakage
