Hey everyone,

I bent the bracket that resides inside of the rear passenger flare and connects to the rear passenger mudflap. Is this bracket replaceable? If so, what is the part number? I think I can replace the flare/mudflap without this metal bracket, but since I have the flare off, this would be the time to replace.

Here's pictures of what I'm talking about:

Not serviced. Time for a new flare.

He's getting a bit on the older side...

Let me translate: it's time for a de-flare.

seriously? i just tossed all my old beat up flares, and bracketry in the dumpster monday! sorry!

Find that dumpster! :crybaby:

Tony, the bracket I'm looking for is on the half of the flare attached to the quarter panel.

If I could just find that bracket I think I could salvage the flare, as I was able to take the flare off without harming the plastic pieces on the inside or the weatherstripping.

Thanks all for the prompt replies. If anybody has a lead on someone parting out their flares, let me know!

if bpassmore doesn't find it, I may have it

I hate to bring up an ancient thread but I have searched high and low and I need this same bracket for my LX450 rear driver side quarter panel flare. It is the bracket that is located where the flare connects to the mud flap.

The PO of my LX got the flare and mud flap caught up in a log when off roading and it ripped the flare off and severely bent this bracket. I bought another flare from someone parting an LX out and the bracket in that one is rusted to HELL! I have a feeling this bracket is sold as part of the flare and doesn't have it's own part number. Can anyone help?

I will check. I'm pretty sure I have one

Correct. To get a new bracket you buy the flare. In your case it would have to come from a Lexus dealer.

Thanks, CDan. That is what I was afraid of. Based on what you are saying, I am assuming this bracket is Lexus specific and can not be substituted for a LC bracket? I had figured that was the case with the LX specific flares.

If anyone out there has a spare bracket for a Lexus LX450 they want to part with please hit me up!

As you pointed out the 450 flare is significantly different but I have never compared the mounting points with a Cruiser flare. It is possible the bracket is the same. There is only one way find out.
