Help requested- Part Number Challenge:

Searched a lot and cant identify the 75 series side step part numbers. Doesn't appear to be on common sites to order such. I see there are some take offs available in Aussie Land, but seems like I should be able to find part number.

I have some real nice ones off a 77 I would part with but don’t know if they match a 75.

Cheers
Thanks, but those won't fit. Only for 76,78 and 77. Those part numbers are actually on Partsouq diagrams....but not for the 75. Listed as "Step".

I finally found the part number online...hidden in the exploded diagrams....but not available per PartsSouq for the 75 series.

RH- 51770-60130
LH- 51780-60150

However....i see looking at take offs in Aussie where the ones from a late model 79 series are exact match.

So now I need the part number for a 79 series side step- through 8/2016.

Anyone have a VIN number for late model 79 series?

I think with this, i could order OEM new and it will fit back to 1985 if needed.

Wrong part numbers. And just because Partsouq doesn't have it doesn't mean it's not available.

Correct part numbers for a 75 series pickup:

51707-90K00
51708-90K00

These are even available through TMS USA. Though you will most likely need an HS-7 for parts release here in the States.

Ah...thanks Onur... good to know about partsouq- you are clear the expert in parts location!

However, I see these part numbers are for the step only, whereas the 75 troopy side steps have a rubber lip and brackets included as an assembly on those part numbers. It looks like these need the bracket separately.

At $250 each side for the steps only, i think getting the AU new take offs for $200 for set (where someone installed sliders) would be better, or to just remove mine, or send mine off for blasting and powdercoat...but I think my brackets may be about done underneath.

My bad. I assume pickup and forgot about Troopy.

This vendor has steps removed from new vehicles with brackets $225AUD

Yes, that was the ones I was speaking about...i've reached out...but have not heard back...holiday or fires probably. Seems like a great deal compared to alternative.

Yeah, they may have shut down for 2 weeks.
IMO you are better off getting something heavier duty. I think the OEM steps are useless, it takes very little to damage them. I would get something else and incorporate sliders into the design.
I gently slid sideways onto a rock one night , it bent the step and put a nice dent into the panel under the door. I knew it was only a step, but I was surprised how soft it was.
