Does anyone know the correct part number for the 6 Pin Connector to the Throttle Body? My dealer broke mine while doing the valley plate leak repair. Going to ask for a new one tomorrow and I can't find it on the parts website.

Most toyota connectors will have a very small number visible on the body somewhere, and you combine 90980-XXXXX (that number) to order new ones from toyota.

Example from the FSM here:

It is possible to dig into the EWDs and find many connector part numbers (not the usual parts diagrams) but trust me when I say it is tedious and prone to error. Much easier and more accurate to just get the number from your existing one.

I believe it's 90980-11858. You'll want to check for that part number on the plug you're trying to replace to confirm. Should be able to depin and repin into this connector housing without too much effort. Reference youtube for how to do that for Toyota connectors.

Unfortunately they used JB Weld or something on it, and I didn't want to break it loose to see the part number if I didn't have to. Anyway, a new one is on order. Thanks!

I’d be having a talk with a service advisor about what the factory service manual says about connector repairs. IMO this is an unacceptable repair.

Yeah, this was front and center and I noticed it immediately when I opened the hood. Now I'm a bit worried about what they did that I can't see.

Leaking Valley Plate/Heat Exchanger repair was $1,171.00 if anyone wants a price reference.

This is a tough one.

I'll share I literally did my valley plate last week too and I had the same issue with the clip. And I'm very careful with these as it's all too common into higher mileage that these things become brittle and break just by looking at them. At least JDM vehicles in general are better than some European makes that don't just break but crumble.

If this were the dealership where you're paying a premium, maybe I'd press. If it were an independent, at least they made sure it was secure.

It's a $15 part and 30 minutes to resolve.

Do you have a video or some instructions you used to de-pin? I’m going to need to do this.

This video shows a few common toyota types. The only thing I'd add is I usually push the wire further into the connector before trying to release the tab. Sometimes the tab will catch on the terminal if the wire gasket is pulling the wire out at all.
