Can you recommend a place that has this part in stock and can overnight it/send it out today?

I've called many places and the best wait is a week.

This is for the A442F tranny on a '93.

Thanks,
Ron

To begin with, 34734B is not a part number. It, in fact, is not valid for anything. It is a botched part name code, attempting to direct one to the proper catalog text.

The correct part name code is 34732B. the part number is 90374-34001. There are currently NONE in depot stock in the United states.
There is ONE in the Japan warehouse in Ontario California. If your local dealer puts a critical order in on it right now it could get to that dealer Monday, maybe.

Thanks, Dan. Best date is still next Friday. Oh well.

Why?

My Local Toyota Dealer here in San Diego, CA.
I asked them to put it on critical order as you mentioned.

I've seen thrust bearing sets on the web. Heck...I'd order the set to get the one piece.

If they did critical it today I would not be surprised if they have it Monday.

E and F code parts go to automatic TNT order when there is no depot stock available. The "standard" ETA provided by Toyota on TNT orders is a minimum of 5 working days.

Practical experience has shown me that stuff that comes out of Ontario beats that time frame almost always. IF the part has to come from Japan the transit time jumps dramaticaly.

Ron, hop on the 15 and go get it...you're not that far away.

Safado, easy for you to say....

Might as well add to my order what are the other needle bearings associated with the A442F?
According to the "botched part name code" there is also a "34710D" and "34714".
Dan, please translate these codes to real part numbers

34710D,

Front, 90374-28012
Rear, 90374-23001

34714 is a one-way overdrive clutch. 35791-36010

You the man DAN!!!

Thanks!

toyota changed the way they ship a few years ago......use to be anything in CA was only 2 days away........now it can be 5.

It is a high priority critical order.

Is it because of JD Tippet?

In my next life OR when I grow up (which ever comes first), I'm gonna be a Toyota parts guru.
