Mine are pretty faded. Is it easy to repaint them or better to repurchase some new ones?

Pull them off, steel wool them, and shoot them with some Rustoleum.

FYI, you might also want to try a ceramic coating. I hit mine with CQuartz UK after I did the rest of the car and they almost look like new, will see how well it holds up.
