Which is better,

When rust is spotty,

1.POR15, then paint, when there's some good paint still in place around the rust, or

2. Use rust killer, then primer followed by paint?

I'm afraid of seeing the POR peal up where some base paint is still good. Plus the cost of POR.

I'm trying to restore with the body on the frame, and doing it all outdoors while using it as a daily driver!!!

1. Sandblast, prime and paint. (best option) 2. Grind, feather edge, POR15, feather edge, prime and paint. (next best). Some pics of what your looking at repairing would help.
