I want to paint a outdoor table to match the new chairs i got. its a good quality powdercoat finish. Ten years old, and no problems with the original paint.
Whats the best way?...spray?...brush on?

Have it powdercoated. In my area, that would run about $60.

X2 includes sandblasting, you'll have a set that will last another 10+.

I did some research on this because my 40 body was powder coated by the PO.
Sand it with 200-400 and then prime it and paint it. The sanding will allow the primer to grip.
Results are pretty bullet proof so long as the original powder coat was not over rust.

On the 40 I hit it with 40 grit on the DA and then went to about 200 and am ready to hit it with primer. The powder coat was so tuff it barely scuffed it with the 40.
