Paint my airbag?

I know this must be a pretty unusual question, but here it goes....

The paint on my air bag from my 1997 LC is blistering. I would like to re-paint it, but I'm not sure how. Not real experienced with painting, but I don't think it would be too hard. Seeing as it's rubber, I want to be carefull on which products I use.

I was thinking something like:

1) Remove airbag from vehical.
2) Use something to remove old paint.
3) Rinse & Dry
4) Paint with something that is okay for rubber.

Can anyone elaborate /fix this steps for me?

SEM color coat system is made exactly for that.Most auto body supply stores carry it.should have everything you need to do it right but make sure you follow the instructions.all in aerosols also so its pretty easy bring your peice in with you to match to the book.
