Drove to CVS and was greeted with a P0012 code on the way home. Google shows a Cam Position Sensor that has to do with a malfunctioning or clogged solenoid. Religious service and 7k OCI w/ M1 synthetic and oversized M109 filter.
Anyone have any experience with this? Should I clear it with the scangage and see if it comes back?
Car idles fine although the dip stick smelled more like gas than normal. It was a very quick trip and didnt get to op. temp but prior to that was a 30 mile commute home.
